Outbound integrations allow Living Security to send notifications, alerts, and updates to your team’s communication channels. Use these integrations to keep stakeholders informed about training progress, security events, and playbook results.
For Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Chat nudge delivery to people, use Settings → Communications → Channels. Outbound webhooks for event egress are configured separately when your organization has developer hub access.

Available Integrations

Use Cases

Security Considerations

Outbound integrations transmit data to external services. Ensure you:
  • Only grant necessary permissions to integration tokens
  • Regularly rotate credentials
  • Review which data is included in notifications
  • Use the regional Teams package and Microsoft tenant shown in Living Security

Getting Started

The legacy Settings → Integrations → Outbound route now redirects to Settings → Communications → Channels. Use these paths instead:
  • Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google ChatSettings → Communications → Channels
  • WebhooksSettings → Developer Hub → Webhooks (prototype preview only; does not deliver production events)
Click the relevant integration card to configure credentials, app package installation, destinations, and notification settings.
