Call the regional /v1 host that matches the organization’s data residency. Keys created in that organization’s Developer Hub authenticate only on that host. They do not work across regions.
A valid key sent to the other region’s host fails as unauthorized. Use the host assigned to your organization.

How to choose a host

  1. Use the data-residency region chosen when the organization was created.
  2. After you can reach a host, confirm with GET /v1/organization. The region field is the data-residency label. Use it to pick the host.
  3. If you are not sure, ask Living Security Support. Do not send a live key to both hosts to find out.
Request logs in the Developer Hub show traffic for that organization’s region only.

Map your organization’s region

Use the region returned by GET /v1/organization to confirm your host: Do not switch hosts to work around an authorization or availability error.
