# unsupported_version

> Public API error unsupported_version — the requested API version is not supported (HTTP 400).

## What it means

The `Living-Security-Version` header requested an unsupported API version. The
value may be malformed, unknown, or no longer supported.

## What to do

* Send a supported `YYYY-MM-DD` version value in the `Living-Security-Version` header.
* If your pinned version has been sunset, follow the migration guide in the changelog to move to a current version.
* Check `detail` — it states why the requested version was rejected.
