# not_entitled

> Public API error not_entitled — the organization is not entitled to the requested capability (HTTP 403).

## What it means

The credential authenticated successfully, but the organization it belongs to is not entitled to the requested capability. This is a plan/subscription boundary, not a permission problem: no credential in the organization can reach this capability.

## What to do

* Confirm the capability is included in your organization's Living Security plan.
* Contact your Living Security account team to add the entitlement if you need this capability.
* Do not retry — the result will not change until the organization's entitlements change.
