# credential_revoked

> Public API error credential_revoked — the API credential was revoked (HTTP 401).

## What it means

The credential was recognized but has been revoked. Revocation is permanent: a revoked credential can never authenticate requests again.

## What to do

* Create a new credential in the Developer Hub and deploy its secret to your integration.
* If you did not expect this credential to be revoked, check with your organization's administrators — keys are typically revoked when they are no longer needed or may have been exposed.
* Do not retry with the revoked credential — the result will not change.
